Diving Center Information
This is a good time to start and get into the water with Dive One Team to learn and appreciate this activity on 360°. We have a friendly  and experienced team or staff awaiting their new dive adventure.

Most of the people they never took a diving course because they were afraid, they thought that was too difficult to learn, because they though was time-consuming and most of the people still think that is a dangerous activity.
None of the previous statement fortunately is true, otherwise we would not have millions of divers around the world enjoying and spending time underwater.

This activity on the other hand is easy, it takes 4 to 5 days to become a Certified Diver(Open Water Diver) even if you have other options, easier to manage, for people who wants just to try with a Certified Instructor to understand the feeling and the meaning of diving in only one supervised dive.

It is not a risk free activity, no sport activity is without risk, but it doesn’t take much to learn how to do it in an appropriate and safe way. Even something easy like crossing the road become dangerous if you don’t look for cars.
This is where the Dive One Professional Team makes the difference with their learning experience.

The Course itself is easily divided in 3 sessions:

Color variations for Air template

  • The first session is called “Confined Water Session” where the students get in touch with the equipment for the first time, learn how to don it, to wear it, to use it and they can test it in a very shallow water (like a swimming pool for example). The students have to complete also a series of exercises to demonstrate the proficiency on a particular skill (which can be for ex. to remove the mask underwater ). Once the students have shown all the skills in the confined water are ready to go to the next step.
  • The second sessions is called “Open Water Session” where the students practice in a real diving situation (actual condition in the sea) what they have learned in the confined water session. They have plenty of time to adapt to the new environment and repeat some of the skills.
  • The third session is to be mixed within the first and the second and is called “Theory Session”, which includes all the diving theory (for ex. pressure, proper descents, thermal protection, etc..) that can be done in part by self-study by the students (every students will receive a manual that they could keep even after the course to review the theory in the future) and in part by a Certified Instructor Classroom Session (which includes slides and some videos). It will all end with a Final Written Exam before receiving the Certification.

In other activities (like football for ex.) you don’t need to be a professional coach to start coaching.
In Diving you can’t be a Professional Instructor without passing numerous exams (both theoretical and practical). More years of experience means more and more proficient as an Instructor.
This is why Dive One in choosing selectively its Instructors, to provide a service and professionalism that will be remembered in the future. Quality for Dive One is top on the list, and with it we have a pleasant time, fun, reward and an experience which won’t be forgotten.

The dive center location is based in Ras Nasrani, an area of outstanding natural marine life with reefs stretching over 1,500 meters.

Dive One Team has an experience in Tourism since 1989 and in diving has been offering the highest quality education for the past 8 years, and is the only diving center in Sharm El Sheik who represents the IANTD for recreational diving.
